Panama Interpreters is an interpretation & translation firm based in Panama that offers services in a broad array of languages such as English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, German, Russian, Hindi, as well as several official dialects/languages used in India, Africa, and Asia.
The firm is based in Panama and started its operation in January of 2013, it was founded by Ms. Hady J. Gonzalez Black, a Panamanian lawyer, interpreter and translator. Gonzalez’s work experience dates back to her legal practice focused mainly on corporate and business law. Her experience includes other related fields of expertise such as finance, real-estate, banking, human rights, economics, politics & public policy, gender & sustainable development, climate change, among others.
Ms. Gonzalez has interpreted for a vast array of clients in several countries in the region including Mexico, where she lived from 2008-2010. She has also attended several trainings abroad to further develop her skills as an interpreter and trainer. Some of such trainings include the Training of Trainers hosted by AIIC (International Association of Conference Interpreters) in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2014; in 2015 she was a guest speaker at the NAJIT (National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators) annual conference held in Atlanta, Georgia; Ms. Gonzalez has attended the ATA annual conference in several occasions and in 2017 she got her Master’s Degree in Conference Interpretation in Spain.

Panama Interpreters is committed to helping interpreters grow and further develop their skills to become the best in their field. The firm has launched a Corporate Social Responsibility Program based on 3 main pillars with continuous training at its core to ensure quality in interpretation: 1) sponsoring free training workshops for all interpreters, 2) sponsoring affordable training initiatives for the interpreters in our community, and 3) delivering specialized training modules for our staff interpreters through our Corporate University based in the City of Knowledge Research and Development Park in Panama City, Panama.
